Giovanni De Carolis 20(10)-4 vs. Hadillah Mohoumadi 14(9)-3-1

After a middling start to his career, De Carolis seems to have found his power. Though he has a 42% KO ratio, 6 of his last 7 fights have been won by KO.

Clearly, he’s not the same man who was defeated by Matteo Signani and Lolenga Mock. Since 2011, he’s been a higher calibre of fighter. Now he’s looking to put his stamp on the continental scene — and a win over Mohoumadi will move him closer to world contention

Mohoumadi has 2 losses in his last 3 fights, but he performed well in them — giving both James DeGale and Nikola Sjekloca something to think about. Beyond those defeats, he has wins over Cedric Bellais and Hugo Kasperski.

He also has decent KO power, having gone on a 5 fight KO streak between 2011-12. For Mohoumadi, this is a winnable fight.

At the end of the day, I believe this will come down to power.

Prediction: De Carolis by KO10.
